*Please note Courtney is currently not taking on new clients. Apologies for any inconvenience caused*

Hi, my name is Courtney. I have been the Director of Courtney Erin since June 2004, when I took over from my old boss when I was just 21! I started my hairdressing journey part time in the Salon 6 years prior to this when I was a young, shy girl still at school and desperate to become a hairdresser.

I left school and started working in the Salon full time training in NVQ Level 2, once completed I went on to Level 3 and then finally Teacher/ Assessor Qualification.

I then started teaching and assessing Hairdressing in the salon.

I now work part time in the salon as the salon director as I have a little girl and continue to run the salon from home on my “days off”

I specialise in all aspects of Hairdressing, especially Racoon Hair Extensions and colour changes. I love anything hair related.

People who know me call me a workaholic but I believe if you want something in life you have to work for it and believe that I run a successful business because of this.

I'm known for changing my hair all the time as I love experimenting and get bored easily so don't be surprised if you don't recognise me the next time you see me! x

Artisic Designer

Hi, my name is Anerleigh but you can call me Leigh or Aley for short as I know sometimes my name can be hard to remember!!! I was born on the 15th December 1989, and I am a Sagittarius!!!

I have been working at Courtney Erin from the age of 15 helping out as an assistant to the stylists. I decided to start full time in 2011 where I started my training and gained my NVQ Level 2 qualification. I love being creative and really enjoy styling hair, especially putting hair up; which is what got me in to hairdressing in the first place.

Over the past few years I have fulfilled my dream of becoming a primary school teacher working full time in a local school, where I love to enthuse and engage the children with their learning. Due to this, I am only in the salon part-time.

I really enjoy spending time with my friends, and also playing netball. However my real passion is singing!! I attended the BRIT School for Performing Arts for four years and studied Musical Theatre alongside my academic subjects. Those were the best days of my life so far!!!

I am very approachable and friendly person and I love to have a good old chat!!! So I look forward to having a conversation with you in the future!!!!

Artistic Designer

Hi, my name is Chloe

Hairdressing was something that I wanted to do from a young age. I started working in a salon when I was 14 as a Saturday girl and loved every minute of it! You can see how, just by getting your hair done can make someone feel good about themselves so when I left school at 16 I knew that I wanted to be a Hairdresser. I went to college to do my NVQ level 2&3 and I was a qualified hairdresser by the time I was 17! I later went on to do a Ombre and balayage course to learn all the up-to-date techniques.

In my spare time, I love to spend it with my family and on the weekend I love going to the pub as it gives me a chance to meet up with friends and let my hair down after a long and busy week at work. I'm a very hard worker as I know you have to work for the things in life. When I was 12, I used to work at my local stables for nearly 2 years on the weekends so getting my hands dirty comes natural to me. I love shopping and my friends like to call me a shopaholic. I can be quite shy at first until you get to know me.

One thing in life that I have always loved to do is travel and see the world and all the beautiful and wonderful places out there.

I love making people feel good about themselves when they walk out of the salon. Look forward to meeting you and to be a friendly face when you come to Courtney Erin.

Creative Designer

Hi I’m Alice and I’m the graduate designer here at Courtney Erin.

I began my hair journey at age 16 by doing my apprenticeship here, and after a few years of training, I am now here to help you achieve your hair goals as a stylist.

Outside of work I am a singer/ songwriter/ guitarist, and I like to spend my free time writing and recording, or performing. I also spend lots of time with my boyfriend, and like to plan holidays days out together.

In the salon, I like to make people feel comfortable, and make their appointment an enjoyable experience so that they leave feeling their best. :)

Graduate Designer

Hi, my name is Amy and I am the new apprentice at Courtney Erin. Currently, I am training for my NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing. My hairdressing journey began in December 2022 when I was 16 years old as a full-time apprentice.

My job at the salon is to make sure that the premises remain presentable to all clients throughout the day. Additionally, I assist stylists and ensure that clients feel comfortable and are looked after. So far, I have learned different techniques to shampoo clients' hair and different ways to style their hair with a variety of styling tools.

From a young age, I have always been interested in hair and makeup. I loved dressing myself up and getting ready for fun. After leaving secondary school, I decided to study Level 2 Beauty Therapy at college. However, after three months of studying this course, I realized that it wasn't for me. I then decided to change my career path and start hairdressing on the salon floor as an apprentice, and it has been the best decision I've made.

The salon environment is positive, and I have had the chance to meet great colleagues who provide me with guidance and advice. I also enjoy interacting with a variety of clients, both new and old. Each day at the salon is different, as there are always new things to learn and look forward to.

In my spare time outside of the salon, I like to spend time with my family and friends, usually socializing and doing things that we all love, such as having meals out and shopping. I also love my furry four-legged friends whom I have grown up with: our dog called Bailey, and our two cats, Milly and Tilly.
